When the Going gets tough,
Companies go Team Building
Companies spent less on parties over this year’s
festive season but are, instead, “investing in the benefits of team
building”, according to (local FSB/Chamber member) Andrew Harvey,
director of The Edge Entertainment Agency.
Over the last ten years or so, team building has
become firmly recognised as an important element of a company’s morale
policy, and an effective motivational tool.
But Andrew has noticed a shift in his clients’ team
building requirements. Organizations of all sizes are realizing that
bringing co-workers together outside the traditional meeting room
environment can produce remarkable and lasting results. Team building
events can increase the effectiveness, the drive and the focus of the
workforce - particularly important during these current times of
economic difficulty.
The Edge has responded to these new demands by
